Walking back to the office after a lovely Friday afternoon coffee break at “Groundwork” with just myself (It was truly amazing (the coffee & the time alone)-I don’t mean it in a self-pity kind of way- I’ll put up a photoset later), I noticed a frantic older Domino’s Pizza man wearing a red Domino’s Pizza shirt and cap looking for “DShephard CBS.”
He said he had tried calling them, no one answered and the security dude was not at the front desk. Being the Mama Tina (wanna be Wonder Woman) I am, I tried to think where they could be located in the building. I had no idea of course- there are many production offices in this ONE humongous building- some of which we don’t even know they’re here! (very secretive, and ellusive I know)- anyway, the security dude ended up coming back into the lobby, but before he did, I told the Domino’s Pizza Man I’m sorry I couldn’t help you more, and he asked me what my name was.
I paused. I thought to myself, uhhh why do you want to know my name?? but then I thought, what’s the worst that could happen- nothing, so I said- I’m Tina. We shook hands and he introduced himself as Gregory. And right as I was walking down the hall, he nodded and said, “You’re very beautiful, Tina” in the most genuine non-sleezy way maybe almost anyone has ever told me in my life, and that’s saying a lot. It was a tender moment and it truly made my day.
By the time I was walking up the stairs to our office, I overheard one of the guys downstairs say, “cheeeeeese.”
