    I haven’t posted a personal blog in a while! Perfect timing…  SO mama randomly found her favorite 80s/90s earrings (B52’s blonde singer, Cindy Wilson, was wearing an identical pair of the pink oval ones in the LOVE SHACK video.. check it!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leohcvmf8kM ) I thought I lost months ago!!! I was seriously heartbroken for a solid week when I told mom I THINK I gave it away to Salvation Army…You don’t understand the sigh of relief/how happy I got when she texted me this photo!! And today of all the days to stumble upon it. It’s going to be a great year! I SEE IT NOW!! :)

    The Spider is an ode to my mother. She was my best friend. Like a spider, my mother was a weaver. My family was in the business of tapestry restoration, and my mother was in charge of the workshop. Like spiders, my mother was very clever. Spiders are friendly presences that eat mosquitoes. We know that mosquitoes spread diseases and are therefore unwanted. So, spiders are helpful and protective, just like my mother. — Louise Bourgeois
